Chelsea suffers setback

With the premiership football in full swing Chelsea ended their unbeaten streak this season. Aston Villa managed to produced a surprise result among the matches that were played this week.A debut goal from Zat Knight and a late Gabriel Agbonlahor strike saw Aston Villa end Chelsea's 18-match also ended unbeaten streak in the league.

Mean while in the sunday's other match the gunners were able to beat the Pompeys even though they were reduced to 10 men for about 40 minutes of the match. Emmanuel Adebayor's penalty and Cesc Fabregas's close-range effort put Arsenal in first-half control. Thomas Rosicky scored a brilliant goal in 2nd half to add to Arsenal's tally to 3 goals. Before that Senderos was red carded after fouling Kanu. Kanu socred a consolation for the Pompey.

Benni McCarthy's solo goal gave Blackburn a victory over Manchester City.In saturday's match roundup Liverpool thrashed the newly promoted Derby 6-0. Fernando Torres and Alonso socred 2 goals a piece and Voronin and Babel added other two in Liverpool's biggest win of the season.

The surprised result came at the Craven cottage as Fulham managed to earn a point against the Spurs. Michael Owen also lools like to score again as he managed to ssore thewinning goal for the toons.
