Emirates, Amsterdam What next…

Arsenal has been the team with the best form at the moment during pre season tournaments. It has won two trophies namely Emirates Cup and the Amsterdam Cup. Although winning the tournament is of no great significance but it proves that the gunners are really fired up. Four consecutive wins against the best teams from Europe really proves the Gunners are really desperate to win some silverware this season.

Arsenal has now won the pre season friendly against Ajax, Lazio, PSG and Inter Milan. The young Arsenal team now has to survive life without their top marksman after Henry signed up for Barcelona. Experienced campaigners Kolo Toure, Gallas and Gilberto now have the responsibility in their shoulders. Fabregaes and Van Persie should mature and show their true potential. Both players have ability to become world class players and if they show their true form then Arsenal will be flying with true colors. Other youngsters namely Diaby, Walcott, Clichy, Eboue, Bentdner also should be able to fulfill the promise they have shown.

Further the midfield especially will be commanded by Hleb and Rosicky especially in the wings. New recruits in the name of Fabianski, Bakary Sagna and Dario Silva also possess talent but they have to prove that in big matches. Let’s hope the gunners will be ending their last dismal season with some silverware probably Premiership or even the Champions League.
